There's more to her than a monster
Daevic stared at her. Her skin looked so soft on her face. Even among the other travelers that had never seen the sun her especially pale complexion stood out. Daevic looked away for a moment as the transport shook having bumped something with its tire. He looked back. Her hair was as shiney as a precious gem. Its midnight color forming a sharp contrast with the rest of her head. She was wearing a home knit sweater turtle neck and as he felt a gentle breeze he saw her shiver and pull the turtle neck up above her nose.
Her eyes closed, the light of a nearby lamp danced off of her delicate features. Blood vessels shone through lightly at her temples. She stirred and looked up at him. Her gaze pierced him, the completely black eyes made him feel like they were trying to pull on his very soul. It didn’t last long, however, as the very moment she looked he immediately turned away and shifted his eyes to the ground. He realized he had been staring.
He looked up for a moment and instantly glanced away, his field of vision landing on the most mysterious person in the caravan, she was still watching him. His cheeks burned as he watched the figure. He noticed how relaxed the person he was staring at was. They were wearing a cloak that had been wrapped in bandages and they wore a mask and dark glasses. They were laying against a bag of grain. Their bronze hair pulled back and coming to a rest under their back. He realized that he had never heard them speak and that he couldn’t tell what their gender was.

The day my inbox threw up
I was just about to write my blog about the fact that most cars have extra fuel after the needle hits the empty sign when to my surprise, my work inbox threw up. I recoiled in terror as the plastic black bin vomited from every orifice. Debris spilled across my desk and onto the floor. I had been putting so much stuff into it all day that this was bound to happen. If you don't believe me, ask my friend Bobby

The killer assaulted them. She attacked. Daevic fell backwards as she ripped the hardened assasin to shreds, slurping his blood and organs.
Daevic scooted back using his legs to push himself. His pants tugged as the lower waist got snagged on something. The stone floor was cold but the dust made it feel soft and inviting. He scooted a few more feet until his back hit a wall.
She dropped from the alcove above, landing in a position so that she looked like a frog. She leaned forward onto her knees, her hands making a small puff as they hit the ground. She crawled toward him on all fours, very slowly. Rocks scraped under her knee but she didn't notice. She got closer and began to raise on of her arms.
She was ready for this part. Ready for him to react. She expected him to flee or knock her arm away. She was surprised that he wasn't screaming. He had, after all, seen the monster that she really was.
But she loved him.
Her hand came closer to him. She was crawling very slowly. He noticed that her eye were no longer the onyx color they were before, instead replaced by what looked like ruby.
She involuntarily licked her lips. The incredible void in her chest told her that she would never know happiness. Some of the dark crimson was replaced by a pale pink but there was still the illusion of the appearance of a wash of lipstick on her face.
Deciding he was paralyzed with fear she leaned closer, hoping to touch him one last time. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she made contact with his soft skin.
She froze, waiting for him to react. A look of utter sadness on her pearl face.

Road Rage
I knew I should've gotten more sleep, but I didn't feel that tired at the time. Besides, my story needed some work. I wonder if two paragraphs are worth losing two hours though.
I was nearly pushed to an insane rage on the road today on the way to work. Every time I would make a turn the person that had been behind me would immediately speed up to wherever I was trying to get to (say if I was turning right and wanted to get in the left lane). People were riding my tail the whole time like a dog on top of another. My rear view mirror was fully obstructed by these other vehicles and I was doing well over the speed limit. Cars shot by on the right as the cars in front of me slowed down. I'm wondering if it is illegal to install a small cargo bay on the bottom of your car that opens with the push of a button near the steering wheel. I would fill mine with caltrops.
