In English, the term love has become tarnished to the point that when you tell it so someone you really LOVE it doesn't seem like enough.
Love means the same thing as 'lust' now.
When a bunch of school kids get together and suck face*, they keep whispering 'I love you' in their fits of passion to the point that when they are done, it is just hollow and used.

When a bunch of school kids get together and play video games they tell all their friends that they 'love to play' said game.
If a man and a woman get together and truly love each other, sex isn't necessary, neither is kissing or petting or any of those things high school students do when they 'make love*'. If a couple truly loves each other, they can be happier than anyone else alive just by sitting next to each other on the couch, or holding each other as they sleep.
We need a new word to replace love*. One that has only one strict meaning.
