Creative Writing

Boring repetitive tasks seem to dull on forever.  But somebody's got to do them.

I sip a cola and continue sliding my thumb down the side of the flyers.  They bend into shape.

I felt week as my limbs shook from the simplest of tasks; why couldn't my body just take the energy it needed from the oversized stomach I felt I had.  That's what the fat was there for.  ‘No’ I reminded myself, 'It's only for emergencies.'

The soda can hit my lips.  I was shaking again.  My arm hurt from folding yet I was only a fifth done.

It's been a half of an hour since I last checked the time.

I sat back down with a small bag of candy in my hands.  I licked my lips despite the fact that I knew it would only make the shaking worse.  I told myself it wouldn't.

As the hard candy fell into my mouth it felt much bigger than it did in my hands.  I rolled it around on my tongue and continued folding.

Why didn't I think of that?

Have you ever seen a product that makes you say to yourself

‘I could have come up with that!’

on a store shelf or the internet?

I recently found such a product.

http://www.originalspepper.com/

It is such a simple idea that it is a wonder nobody has mass marketed it yet.

That’s how I’ll make some of my fortune.

One day you’ll see an item that Mechageo came up with and think to yourself

‘I could’ve done that!’

E-mail Post

I’m thinking of making a children’s story about taking a bath.

Any suggestions?
